
In 2000, Masamichi founded Smiles Co., Ltd. and became its President and CEO. The company operates specialty stores such as the soup shop “Soup Stock Tokyo” and the necktie store “Giraffe.” Smiles has also exhibited works as an artist at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2015 and the Setouchi Triennale 2016.

A professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design (Department of Information Design) and a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Business Design. In 2011, Naoki founded the creative collective “PARTY,” which aims to bring future experiences into society, focusing on services & products, entertainment, and branding.

After working at an advertising agency, Jun joined PARTY in 2012 and founded The Chain Museum in 2018. He specializes in service/product development and marketing strategy, approaching projects from a business strategy perspective. Jun holds an MBA from GLOBIS Graduate School of Management.

Dai joined Smiles Co., Ltd. as a new graduate, working in the president's office, creative headquarters, and restaurant division before transferring to The Chain Museum. He currently plans and produces a variety of internal and external projects, focusing on the management and operation of the gallery business.

After graduating from Keio University’s School of Commerce, Kiyoko worked at Mitsui Marine & Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., Japan Business Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Mori Tax Accounting Office. Since 2020, she has served as an external auditor for The Chain Museum.

While working in psychiatric clinical practice, Akihiro also serves as an industrial physician and occupational health consultant, focusing on the prevention of mental and physical illnesses among workers. He runs the “Creative Counseling Room,” supporting creators and artists in maintaining optimal conditions for creative work. Akihiro explores ways to contribute to the art scene through medicine. He is a member of the Tokyo Daikanyama Rotary Club and serves as a medical advisor for CYPAR.

Lawyer at Citylights Law Office and serves as director of Arts and Law and Creative Commons Japan. Tasuku is a senior researcher at Keio University SFC Research Institute (Legal Design Lab) and a Good Design Award judge. His publications include Legal Design – Creativity and Innovation Accelerate by Law and The Future of Creation (O’Reilly Japan, co-translator/writer).

Lawyer at Atelier Law Firm and a part-time lecturer at Keio University Law School (Art and Law / Negotiation / Arbitration). From 2016 to 2017, he worked in the US as an experiential game producer. He provides legal advisory services to startups and serves as the legal officer for PARTY, VALU, and SCRAP, leveraging his field experience to deliver comprehensive legal support.

Tatsuya has experience in spatial and video production at Takashimaya Space Creates and NAKED Inc. He joined The Chain Museum in February 2019 and leads curation for “Gallery & Bakery Tokyo 8min.” Tatsuya also directs artist-in-residence programs, in-house projects, and art coordination initiatives.

A specialist in contemporary art curation and collection advisory, holding a Master’s degree in Aesthetics and Art History from Seijo University Graduate School of Literature. Monami has proven expertise across all sectors of the art market (academic, primary, and secondary) through key roles at SBI Art Auction Co., Ltd., including a comprehensive position as an auctioneer at SBI Art Auction Co., Ltd., and has been with The Chain Museum since January 2022.

Kenji is passionate about contemporary art, spending most of his holidays visiting exhibitions and building his own collection. Joined The Chain Museum in September 2022 and supports artists and galleries while providing market- and academic-informed proposals. Kenji also works as a registrar, overseeing artwork management, handling, and logistics.

A curator holding an MA in Aesthetics and Art History from Tokyo University of the Arts and an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, University of London. Previous appointments include work as an assistant curator in the Curatorial Department of the National Art Center, Tokyo, as well as at Avant Arte and other contemporary art organisations. Since November 2023, Yuki has been affiliated with The Chain Museum and is currently the curator of Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura in Azabudai Hills.

Tera graduated from Musashino Art University with a degree in Spatial Production Design. Her experience spans art consulting for hospitality and corporate spaces, international art festivals, and gallery sales at Art Front Gallery. After helping launch RICOH ART GALLERY, Tera joined The Chain Museum in April 2023 and leads exhibition curation and art coordination projects.

Tae graduated from the Department of Art at Tama Art University. After working at a gallery in Tokyo, Tae engaged in artist management at Kaikai Kiki. From 2021, Tae worked at READYFOR as a curator supporting crowdfunding projects in the culture and arts division, and joined The Chain Museum in April 2025. Tae is mainly responsible for artist relations.

Oksana began her career in 2020 as a curator for the Paris-based FOCUS Art Fair, leading projects across Europe and Japan. With experience in planning and managing numerous international art events, she joined The Chain Museum in August 2024. Oksana is mainly involved in artist relations and supports art coordination projects.

Graduated from Tama Art University, majoring in art. While working at a gallery in Tokyo, he continued to plan exhibitions independently and then participated in The Chain Museum from 2024/8. Even now, individual curation continues based on folklore studies, superstitions, etc.

Yuuka graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, majoring in Japanese painting. As a student, she worked on gallery planning, management, and social media, which led to her desire to contribute to the art field. Yuuka joined The Chain Museum in April 2024 and is involved primarily in gallery operations.

Haruno completed an MA in Plastic Arts at Nihon University and helped establish a private art museum as a curator. She later handled exhibition planning, operations, PR, and client support at a gallery. Haruno joined The Chain Museum in September 2025 and works as a registrar, overseeing artwork management, handling, and installation.

After experiencing planning and production focusing on OOH Ambient/ events at TOW Co., Ltd., Dentsu Inc., and Media Concierge, he participated in The Chain Museum. We are good at creating spaces and experiences from a PR and creative perspective.

After experiencing development, leasing, and operation of commercial facilities at a railway real estate company, he participated in The Chain Museum. Mainly in charge of corporate sales and project managers for coordination businesses.

With extensive experience in the recycling-focused fashion industry, Tomoko worked in buying and planning before transferring from Smiles’ PASS THE BATON division. She manages domestic gallery relations and also creates and edits content for ArtSticker. Previously, she has also led projects for tickets, audio guides, and artwork sales for museums, art festivals, and galleries.

Born in Guangxi, China, Teki completed graduate studies in Japanese art history at Hiroshima University. She has worked in contemporary art galleries and later gained project management and business development experience at major IT companies while engaging with art scenes across Japan and Asia. At The Chain Museum, she supports the company’s international business development.

Keiichiro built his career at a JTB Group advertising company, working across PR, sales promotion, branding, and inbound marketing for commercial facilities and hotels. Since 2017, he has led initiatives in regional revitalization and area management to drive engagement and visitors. At The Chain Museum, he is mainly responsible for corporate sales in art consulting and production. Keiichiro holds an MBA from GLOBIS University.

Joined a general human resources business company as a new graduate. After working as a mid-career recruitment support/job change support advisor and manager of a job change support advisor team, I participated in The Chain Museum. Responsible for ticket sales PM, customer service, and back office.

Miki joined Creema after an internship at the handmade marketplace. For over ten years, she led the planning and execution of outdoor music festivals, major craft fairs, regional revitalization projects, and client events as an event director. She later joined The Chain Museum as a project manager, bringing extensive experience in creator support and cultural event production.

Rie gained experience in contemporary art management in New York before returning to Japan to work at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and SANAA. She played a key role in launching The Chain Museum and later served as Fair Manager for Tokyo Gendai in 2023. Since May 2025, she has led gallery relations and overseas partnerships as Gallery Relation Director.

After majoring in Aesthetics and Art History, Nana worked as a photographer before transitioning into the art industry. For nearly 20 years, she has been engaged in art sales and appraisal, collection management, collection consulting, and commission-based projects in contemporary art. In her commission work, she has overseen the entire process, from developing concepts to proposing artists, negotiating with stakeholders, and managing projects. Since joining The Chain Museum, she has primarily worked as a project manager, responsible for coordination across various projects.

Growing up in a family running hotels and building maintenance services, Ritsuko began a career in the hotel industry and worked there for eight years. A world journey inspired her career shift to real estate, followed by a year of study in Denmark. She later joined The Chain Museum, where she handles corporate inside sales and manages art coordination projects.

Kyo majored in Comparative Culture Course and specialized in Art History/Visual Culture at university. She joined a global consulting firm as a new graduate, and after engaging mainly in ESG and sustainability projects with government offices as clients, she joined The Chain Museum as a Project Manager. She is mainly responsible for project management within art coordination projects and formulating strategies for the entire business.

Saki started her career at a financial institution, handling corporate sales and research both domestically and internationally. She later moved into the art industry, managing projects to introduce wall art and creative installations into offices and commercial facilities at TokyoDex. Seeking greater possibilities in art, she joined The Chain Museum as a project manager.

Miho began her career at Parco Co., Ltd., working across multiple stores before leading the launch and operation of the self-edited shop “MEETSCAL Store,” including original product development. She later joined the new business development division, supporting the company’s internal new business award program. Since March 2025, she has been seconded to The Chain Museum for one year as part of J. Front Retailing’s first startup secondment cohort.

Graduated from the Department of Cultural Sciences, School of Education, Waseda University. While researching cultural policy, she developed a strong interest in the infrastructure supporting artists and cultural practitioners. She joined The Chain Museum as a university student, focusing on content production and editing for ArtSticker. Currently, she is engaged in building relationships with galleries both in Japan and abroad, as well as supporting the company's global business expansion.

After working in HR planning at a comprehensive human resources services company, Satoshi joined Sansan Inc., where he led business development in AI/DX and strategic alliances. He later served as CMO and President of a group company, gaining extensive experience in business operations. Satoshi joined The Chain Museum in September 2025 and now leads the art coordination business as its Director.

Satoru graduated from Chuo University’s Department of International Policy and Culture. He began his career at Sharp Corporation, working in product planning and corporate planning for LCD products. He then spent more than 10 years in B2B sales for office and residential furniture at AXIS, Herman Miller Japan, and others. Satoru joined The Chain Museum in October 2025 as a Sales and Project Manager for the art coordination business.

With a background in architecture, Mayumi has experience in facility development at a national university and administrative operations in a central government ministry. She later worked in project management for office projects at both a subsidiary of an office furniture manufacturer and a global real estate PM firm. Mayumi joined The Chain Museum in November 2025 as a Project Manager for the art coordination business. She is a licensed First-Class Architect.

After working as an artist assistant, Ruri joined Smiles Co., Ltd., where she handled display production and customer service for PASS THE BATON. She was transferred to The Chain Museum in July 2021 and contributed to operations for REAL by ArtSticker. Ruri currently serves as the gallery manager for Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura in Azabudai Hills.

Romi was born in Tokyo and spent 14 years working at a local boulangerie before establishing an independent career and launching her own brand, gather. She operated a bread-focused café-restaurant in Tokyo for five years while running the hot dog café Chōnai Geijutsu inside the Watari Museum of Art. Since 2023, she has been the chef at Paichu.

Born in Saitama, Kazuyuki describes his mindset as “Belgian.” After seven years of training in French cuisine in Tokyo, he moved to Europe and spent nine years at the two-star Belgian restaurant L'eau vive, where he served as sous-chef. Returning to Japan in 2018, he worked as chef at PAVILION, operated by Smiles Inc. He joined The Chain Museum in 2023 and led the launch of the restaurant at Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura as its chef.

Ryosuke trained at the renowned Japanese restaurant Kurogi beginning in his student years. As head of the café division, he launched Kuriyashiki Kurogi, creating recipes, spaces, and service experiences beloved by many dessert and shaved-ice fans. He joined The Chain Museum in 2023 and now leads service operations, overseeing the launch and management of the restaurant at Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura.

Rika majored in architecture at university and began her career in furniture sales. Drawn to the energy of fast-growing startups, she gained hands-on experience during periods of rapid scaling at companies including Userlike Inc. Wanting to apply her expertise in operational efficiency and workflow design for D2C services, she joined The Chain Museum in February 2024, where she works in customer success and customer support.

After working at a design firm and later at MERY, Ayako joined The Chain Museum. She leads cross-functional design for the entire ArtSticker ecosystem, spanning UI/UX design, communication design, and art direction for the launch and operation of the company’s gallery spaces. Her work explores the interplay between digital and physical experiences.

Kei holds a Ph.D. in engineering with a focus on image processing. His career includes developing and operating large-scale web services, conducting research and development in image recognition technologies, and building applications at startups. He joined The Chain Museum as an iOS engineer, contributing his technical expertise across mobile development.

After working as a programmer at video production studios and web agencies, Koichiro began freelancing in 2020 as a web developer and technical support for artists. He joined The Chain Museum in March 2022 and is responsible for developing and operating the ArtSticker web application.

Seiji has worked in web development since the early 2000s, primarily building and maintaining e-commerce platforms. He became independent in 2008 and has since developed and operated a wide range of websites and web applications. After serving as a tech lead at a startup, he joined The Chain Museum in April 2023 as a web front-end engineer.

Keita is a full-stack engineer from Okinawa, now based in Shizuoka, specializing in backend development at The Chain Museum. Passionate about TypeScript, he focuses on API development, server and database management, and security. Drawing on his broad experience, he also contributes to improving system stability and performance.

Yoshinari has worked across major e-commerce, advertising, and HR platforms as a web designer. Wanting to contribute to a mission he truly values, he joined The Chain Museum in April 2024 as a UI/UX Designer. He also creates artwork in his personal practice.

Akari’s experience spans web production companies, mobile game development, and startup support. She joined The Chain Museum in 2021 and, as a front-end engineer, works on ArtSticker’s web application, in-house management tools, and artist-facing dashboards and ticketing systems.

Tatsuhiko specializes in information architecture and UX design across websites, apps, and digital services. As a project manager, he is also dedicated to shaping effective creative processes.

Kaori has worked on front-end development and video production for client projects, including websites, web applications, and signage applications. She joined The Chain Museum in November 2025 and is responsible for the development and maintenance of the ArtSticker web application as a Front-End Engineer.

Toshiyuki began his career in customer support and help desk roles at major financial institutions before helping launch a new call center for internet banking services. He joined The Chain Museum as a Corporate Manager, overseeing accounting, HR, general affairs, and legal operations.

After working in advertising agency sales, sales/marketing for media companies, and PR/public relations for legal tech startups, he joined The Chain Museum in May 2021. While promoting recruitment activities, they are engaged in work that supports a wide range of sites.

After working at a management consulting firm, Natsu completed an MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy at Goldsmiths, University of London. She joined The Chain Museum in business planning, supporting existing businesses, leading new business development, and contributing to organizational design.

Nami studied art comprehensively at university and began writing for major web media during her student years. After graduation, she worked abroad as an artist assistant and later managed in-house media at an art-focused tech company. She now handles social media, PR, and communications at The Chain Museum.
